- Extern at The John Hopkins School of Medicine in Oral Pathology, and doing General Residency Training at New York-Presbyterian/Weill-Cornell Hospital
- Research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
- A second General Residency at the UCLA Sepulveda VA Hospital
